Today, of all days, our Love and thoughts turn to you, our darling mum.
How, without example of love or nurture, from your own so-called 'parents', you gave us all, the love, devotion, and self-sacrifice, and far, far more, is a credit to your character, and resolve to be something very different from your own lived experience.
Knowing what it was to be the 'outsider', in your own family, you sought out, the forgotten/despised in society. You found the good in those who meant nothing to others. May YOUR example, live on in our hearts, our eternal memory of YOU.
Love, Suexxx.

Dear Mum,
Thinking of you and your upcoming anniversary on 30 December and sending you much love.
Time heals but our family is so splintered now, I fear you would be incredibly sad to see what has happened to us since your passing. Hopefully, the coming new year will pave the way to healing divisions and rifts. Love, Julie & Tony.xx

I prefer to remember your birthday rather than your death day which is never going to be an easy memory.
But knowing you are no longer in pain and are hopefully reunited with dad brings much comfort at this time.
I know you would understand that, mum.
Love, Julie & Tony.xx
